Sprint Development is an 8-week small-group program designed for athletes who want to take a more focused approach to developing their sprinting speed.
Athletes will learn how to sprint more efficiently and effectively through focused coaching on sprint mechanics, acceleration, maximum velocity and technique.
With a maximum of 10 athletes per group, Sprint Development allows coaches to provide a higher level of individual feedback and technical instruction throughout each session.
Over the 8-week program, athletes will develop the key components of effective sprinting, including:
The program can benefit athletes from a variety of sports, including track and field, soccer, hockey, basketball, lacrosse, football and other sports where speed matters.
Athletes do not need to be competitive sprinters to participate. The goal is to develop better sprinting mechanics and speed that can transfer to sport and athletic performance.
Athletes will begin with baseline speed testing and technical assessment, progress through an 8-week sprint development plan, and finish with repeat testing to measure their progress.
