The EDGE Sport Track Club Distance program welcomes youth athletes seeking high-quality coaching in a fun, social and challenging training environment. Our program helps athletes get fit, develop speed and endurance, and prepare for school and club meets. In addition to physical training, we emphasize mental toughness and discipline - key qualities for success both on and off the track.
Why choose THE EDGE SPORT TRACK CLUB?
The EDGE Sport Track Club is an Athletics Ontario and Athletics Canada sanctioned club which allows our athletes to compete at sanctioned track & cross country meets.
We differentiate ourselves from other clubs in the region by hiring professional coaches that have the skills and expertise to guide youth athletes. Our coaches have experience racing at the University Varsity level right up to the World Championships and Olympic Games. These unique experiences have shaped our views and philosophy on how to best help youth athletes achieve their individual goals.
Our track club is focused on providing the competitive pathway for runners with an interest in pursuing track and cross country events at the highest level. We have a proven track record of delivering results. In school meets, our athletes have won multiple OFSAA medals, District and Regional championships. In club competitions, we've won Provincial Cross Country individual and team championships from U12 to U18. Highlights include our U18 Boys team winning the 2024 National Cross Country Championships and in 2025, Brody Clark (the current Senior boys OFSAA 1500m, 3000m and Cross Country champion), breaking multiple U18 National records on the track in the 1500m, 1 mile and 3000m races.
In recent years, multiple Edge athletes including OFSAA medalist, Graham Tomori, have landed US Division 1 scholarships.
Our track club runs year round and is broken down into 4 seasonal training blocks (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Each block is 3 months in duration, offering 12 weeks of training sessions. Pricing is based on the number of sessions attended per week as follows:
1 session per week - $180.00 + HST

* Once the season begins, pricing is prorated and updated weekly for new members
